If we ditch the 16th amendment that reduces their play money and power to a point no one would run for senator and they'd have to be appointed, right?

Probably not, we need to repeal both these amendments.

Sorry my rant was off subject. With these two amendments gone maybe the federalist would go back to doing their only constitutional job, defending American citizens so we can have life, liberty and persue our happiness. They as politicians have no business in our arts, housing, education, healthcare etc...
