I know I am probably repeating what has already been said, or I am "preaching to the choir" so to speak, but am I safe in saying that the Islamic nation views the Iraq issue as one primarily of religion? From his statement, it certainly appears that Mr. Bin Laden does. He presents no message of national pride, or "big country picking on little country", or "poor" vs. "wealthy" - just religion.

I therefore ask - since we keep hearing repeatedly from the left, how peaceful the Islamic religion really is - where is the global (or even national) leader of the Islamic faith saying how wrong Mr. Bin Laden is; or how much the nation of Islam wants peace and abhors violence; or how much the nation of Islam wishes to work with their Christian brothers to find peace?

Nope...not a sound. Nary a peep. So, may we then assume that by their silence on the matter, that the nation of Islam in fact views this as a religious war as well and agrees with the position of Mr. Bin Laden?

Should we not demand of "peaceful" Islamic leadership that they take the time and make the effort to publicly denounce as false Mr. Bin Laden's call to arms?

If no Islamic leader steps forward, then can we not assume that the nation of Islam has set itself agains all other religions? And, if this is the case, should we not, in the role of "enemy" get to know our opponents better? Should we not be closely observing their "forts" (places of worship), to include taking photographs of groups/individuals? Should we not be constantly reporting suspicious activities of our opponents to proper legal authorities? Should we not demand of our Federal government to remove immediately from our country all (repeat ALL) illegal immigrants - beginning with those of Islamic faith first (as our sworn enemies)?

We as citizens, civilians, and non-Islamics can do a great deal during this war.

By their silence, those of the Islamic faith have declared to us that we are their enemy. No citizen of any country should be required or expected to provide peace, comfort, security, livelihood, or shelter to enemy soldiers.

The war began - as we are all aware - on 9/11. The "first shot" was not fired by non-Islamics! It is now time to assist in our own defense. Islamics - if in our country illegally - must be deported at once. NOW! All other Islamics (note: race is not important here - religion is)must be watched carefully. Should one of these manage somehow to harm any one (or more) of us, the fault will lie with us.

You are absolutely correct in everything in your post. The silence of the Islamic world on this tape and it’s content speaks volumes.

After reading my original post, it seems to me it might be misinterpreted, so I’d like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that the one word on GW’s tape (‘Duck!’) was in reply to and directed at Bin Hidin’ and his ilk, not at Americans.
