Or maybe it is just more like: "Oh, yeah, I remember now that my roll of duct tape is getting low, about time to get some more anyway. I guess I could use another roll or two." Worked for me.

Shortwave radio sales are way up too!
Actually it makes sense, the "gatekeepers" have to announce themselves with jamming, and no virus can get at your receiver.

What this tells me is that they are about to go to war and want the people to feel there's less risk to the citizens than there really is. Giving citizens a measure of control over their lives pays off huge dividends.

When you have something that doesn't move and it should .... WD40When you have something that moves and it shouldn't .... duct tape

Funny list.
I once read an article about a study of duct tape. They found many uses for it, but it came up short in one particular area ... duct work.
Go figure.

But I think the way to go is a bubble tent and a few oxygen tanks in your car. Then you could drive through the plume and beat the traffic! After considering all the alternatives, I think I'll move to Idaho.

For months the Democrats have been harping on and on that the Bush admininstration has not given sheeple advice on what to do. Now that fema.gov/areyouready and the duct tape with sheeting is out, Dems lampoon it all; I wonder if they are all fluent in French as they all sound like it.
Each of us has THE responsibility to survive. If one waited until this week to prepare and supply one's own family for "3 days", then it may well be for naught.
100 mph tape is far 'more better', and comes in stylish black and o.d. too. This tape is great for blast damage control of tempered and non-tempered glass, and the sheeting keeps out the weather for a while until the glass can be replaced.
We must all learn the basics of stocking up for war-time home repair. Start by fixing bayonets.

Researchers say over-the-hardware-counter duct tape is a more effective, less painful alternative to liquid nitrogen, which is used to freeze warts. Actually, a quicker method is to use dry ice. Buy a small amount of dry ice and press the pointy corner of a piece if it onto the wart for as long as you can stand it plus a while longer. In about a week, when the frostbite heals, do it again. It might need a third application, but it might not. It works the same as the liquid nitrogen, but without the medical bill.

Absolutely, but it would sure be nice if we could get a tax deduction for Our Own Personal Home/Land Security equipment such as duct tape.
