Why is ZOT material being pulled without posting a ZOT?

I love ZOTs! I find them enormously amusing. They prove that Rush is right when he says that the left is funny when they are out of power. Their hysterical rants are exactly that...Hysterical. However, recently I have found that ZOT material is simply being pulled without comment. I realize that this is a serious forum about conservative politics but if we tolerate blather from Helen Thomas et al (with mandatory Barf Alerts posted) why can't we see ZOTS?

Most of what I've seen that qualified for a ZOT was a vanity rant from some crack head, tofu eating, tree bark chewing liberal.

Threads aren't always pulled because they're offensive but because they're a waste of bandwidth. Much like this thread is.

Sometimes they can be fun distractions but they do keep freepers off of the other threads (the DUsrupters are quickly banned, they create new accounts, and continue their childish pranks). All of this takes up bandwidth.

Today's DUmmy was posting several year old BJs to Bubba and Albert Gore Junior. They were old documents that were personal love letters from columnists to these 2 men who no longer hold any office.

There are other things going on in the world today (some "series", some funny). Keep looking at FR and I'm sure that we can all find some other topics to post on.

Some of the Zot threads retain the original post (viewable under "history", others just replace it with a lightning bolt or test pattern.

Some of the diatribes are there to see how Looney the Clooney brigade can get. Last week, one was replaced by the moderator with a satire of the original post so that the poster claimed to love Saddam more than President Bush. The DUsrupter bragged and whined on the website for DUmmies about how he was "censored". More trolls came to FR to draw out a crappy post. Eventually the thread was pulled.
