A bio card is not needed to do this. it is called one of the many ID's we already have we our social security number on it. Better yet the soc. security card itself. If stealing is a problem , show a DL to prove it is yours. Stealing someones identity is as easy with a micro/smartchip. No way is perfect. People are always gonna find a way to steal. So this national ID card or bio chip is not the answer to all problems.

Yes, but a person must agree to abide by the one driver's license to a person rule. It is this violation with multiple soc sec id cards that creates a lawless situation. If on the other hand, a computer pulled up my picture, taken when I submitted birth certificate and soc sec card at the DMV, then the card would have some impact.

Imagine a terrorist going to all the trouble to buy a fake Id and trying to enter a plane to travel to a place where a terrorist attack was being planned. But the ticket agent gets the picture when the person shows his driver's license. And they don't match. Bingo, this perp is taken away.

This is all I think we need. Can we do it?
