Why use five words when 1 will do? Because they can't think of anything to say, but don't want to stop talking?

You've been here 3 years and you don't know what FLAME means?

You a Paddy? (Real or plastic? *L*)Descended from the O'Dalaigh clan.
In the 1970s, Chief Justice Cearbhaill O'Dalaigh from Wicklow was the President of the Republic of Ireland.
Course, his brother was probably a highwayman!

Fun and alive, or used to communicate? You decide which, then we'll debate. Wordplay IS fun, though the fun of it comes precisely from it's lack of communication. You can play with language, or communicate with it, but not often both at the same time.

So you're a Daly? Eh?
Don't believe the folklore!
The chances of you being descended to the former President are miniscule. But WHAT about it? Eh?
When you are Irish you inherit one thing?
A HELLUV An Attitude!!!:-) (AND that my FRiend, is the very reason I LOVE being Irish! *S*)

You can play with language, or communicate with it, but not often both at the same time. Unlike food, with it you can both play and eat, often at the same time!
Language is not Food!

Forgive the vanity but it's a slow day and I'm tired of waiting ...
Many people might respond with "I could care less" when they mean to say "I couldn't care less."

Any word where the "s" is replaced with a "z" - drives me crazy!Amen!
I think I did some research one time and found that the first use of "federalize" was attributed to none other than Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Now see how often folks try to make a verb out of a noun.
