I'm not a prolific reader all the time. Sometimes I can read three novels in a week, along with having an avaricious consuption of newspapers - next week, I'm hard set to read the back of a cornflakes packet! *L* :-)

And FBD...I haven't resorted to the Harlequin novels just yet! *L* The three books I read last week were by Laurie Graham. I picked up her novel 'The Future Homemakers of America', and liked her easy going style. So I went out and bought two more of her books. I've the rest on order at the bookstore. When I read an author and like them, I try to read everything they've done, and compare their style over the years! :-)

Oh, and another book I started last week was a TRULY trashy novel. But I only read a couple of hundred pages because I was interviewing the author for a feature for my newspaper. :-)

Heh, heh!

That's funny!.. couldn't put it down, huh? (the trashy novel) Sometime I'd like to ask you a little about southern Ireland; the county of Cork, in particular, when you have time.

That's where my paternal grandparents hail from. I believe my grandfather farmed rocks, or something...

BTW, did you see the movie, "Waking Ned Divine"? I liked it, even though it portrayed the folks in that town as quite coniving.

An observation; Irish seem like the most political folks in the world to me. I think that's where I get my politickin'.
My mother, a good Norwegian, doesn't give a hoot about politics. Just like my Swedish sweetie. Couldn't care less.

But look at all the politicians that are Irish; I would like to forget about the Kennedy clan, but it's hard to over-look them. And how about Bill O'Reilly? He drives me nuts sometimes, because he cuts people off, etc. But that's the way my dad argues politics too. Is it an Irish tendancy to be political? I'm truly curious.
