You mean Fresno State, don't you? My hubby is an alum and all the school's properties (t-shirts, hats, mugs, etc.) say "Fresno State."

Well, that was the old name (I went there too) but after the bureaucrats attached "University" to its name, the college put on new airs for a number of years. I've never called it anything but Fresno State, but I don't live around there any more.

UC Berkeley was always "The University" in my day. (I went there too.) People from other parts of the country don't seem to know the difference, owever.
