Note carefully the "line" stretched across the "heavens".

Sorry, but there are stone tablets that ARE MUCH older then any story in the bible.

The bible is only 1800 years old, and some of the stories comprising it are probably close to 5000 years old, but that is far from being the oldest book in existence.

If I remember rightly some of the earliest stories and tablets have been found in Mesopotamia, if you are going to worship based on age, those would be it. Better learn to read another language though, because I doubt there is a King James version.

It all boils down to what was the Sun doing 4.5 billion years ago. My guess is that the early Sun was still accumulating nebulaic gasses(even though it had just began it’s fusion reaction). Therefore it is possible that the early Earth had a weaker Star in the sky.

In addition, the nebulaic gases and particulates would still be in high concentrations, possibly high enough that much of the Sun’s solar radiation would have been absorbed before it reached Earth.

In addition Earth probably didn’t have as strong of a magnetic field to protect it from the Sun.

All this combined means the early Earth was not hot. It was likely very, very cold. Maybe even too cold for liquid water.
