The USA has a problem with growth. We have regulated and litigated our country to a pathetic 1-3% growth rate. That is great when you are a septagenarian waiting to die.

Why can't this country be consuming our own steel. Only an idiot would be blind to the blight and decay in most of our urban areas. Why can't our country be building at a pace similar to that of China. Why? GREED and LAZINESS!

No it's not great if you a septigenarion. This government must remain solvent. And while you and I know that, it couldn't seem to care less. It's policies are preventing growth. It's stagnating our economy. It is driving capital away from our nation and setting us up for one hell of a fall. If don't turn things around, we are not going to be able to service our defense, welfare and debt. It's that simple. And if we're not careful, out elderly are going to be jetesoned into the no-healthcare zone without a prayer.

Why can't this country be consuming our own steel.

Because NOBODY--repeat, NOBODY--wants to live downwind of a big steel mill. Everyone's in favor of the money it would bring into their community--and opposed to the undesirable side effects.

Only an idiot would be blind to the blight and decay in most of our urban areas. Why can't our country be building at a pace similar to that of China.

China is Enron with a nuclear arsenal. Don't look to them as a model--they're going to go down, HARD, in our lifetimes.

Why? GREED and LAZINESS!
