So the question I am going to ask, at the risk of causing great offence, is this: when is the US going to get over the events of 11 September? When every last Jihadist on earth is dead.

This liberal Brit wants us to get over 911...so we can start worrying more about the death of Princess Di or some such other foolishness.

Right now anything that's written she's sure to think it to be a threat against her.
I'll sleep on this one. Breathe deeply

given that the U.K. is infiltrated, as is much of Europe, by Islam, expect more of this trash ...
if 19 Muslim terrorists hijacked jets and flew them into the Tower of London, or Downing Street or the Royal Castle (whatever it is) I suspect they'd still be wailing ...
ii's not like they don't still talk about Diana for goodness sake ...

"the Democrats' horror of appearing unpatriotic ..."
Personally, I've never seen, heard, or been told of a single democrat politician or "activist" who was ACTUALLY patriotic. All I've ever seen were wastoids, marxists, & dirty filthy hippies spitting on flags, cops and soldiers - all the while screaming viscious slanders against America.
"Horror of being unpatriotic.."??
Try "enthusiasm about being unpatriotic". That phrase truly describes the left.
This shows that the author has never really talked to people outside of LA or New York.

"It's about time the US got over 9/11"I can't think of a more offensive title for an article
What are we supposed to do? Act like Clinton and make a few threats and sweep the dead under the rug?. I'm sorry but this kind of journalism is what makes me hate the media. I wonder if the author of this liberal spew had lost a family member in the "World Trade Center", "The Pentagon" or that field in Pennsylvania would be making such a shallow remark.
I have this question for this maggot, Just when should we forget about the 3,000+ innocent lives we lost on Sept. 11th, 2001, When?
I say never. When a group of Islamic Terrorist kill on a scale that has no rival, what the *uck shopuld we do, Turn the other cheek? or go after these groups and all those who harbor them?
I say we take this fight to our enemies and do so relentlessly until they no longer represent a threat to our country. I dont care if it takes 30 years, We need to hunt these parasites down and kill them on contact and continue sending the message that if you pull this bullsh*t on us, we will hunt you down and kill you

If anyone had told me, in the autumn of 2001, that we were less than 18 months away Not to nitpick, (well, OK, to nitpick), but the author should have said 'late summer of 2001'. Autumn began on the 22nd that year, so 9/11 was still in summer.
I know it's minor, but details like that can influence the reader's judgment of the author's credibility.

I am quite prepared to believe there are al-Qa'ida cells in European and American cities . . . Then go ahead and believe it, it is a fact.
. . .when is the US going to get over the events of 11 September?
Deep breath . . . count to ten. . . Alright ;
For the sake of argument, not to mention how outrageously offensive your question is, and pretending that you deserve an answer, referring to your more specific question of when we will get over the paranoia; if it ever does happen, it will happen, in my humble opinion, quite soon after we witness tangible evidence of having taken the upper hand in the war with terror that has been waged against us. Look for the peace and quiet following a bombing raid in and around Baghdad, perhaps. Or more ideally, the sight of one of the leaders of terrorism, say Hussein, being permanently secured, somehow, from his leadership position. How nauseating some journalists can be!

They don't exist. Not in the millions, anyway. However, I do know of this one guy. That's it.
But I will grant her this: I probably don't associate with the filth that she does.
But hey, she said "decent".
I'm still right. She's still wrong. They're not decent.
Why?
Because they're attempting to make it easy for the U.S. to be attacked by their favorite torturous dictator.
Because they (the anti-war crowd) is ANTI-American through and through.
Because they, through their attempts to cripple America, are doing nothing less than assisting the murder of Americans and Israelis - and I sincerely hope they (the anti-war crowd) are proscecuted for being Accessories to Murder when the next terrorist attack hits us.
The Bush administration creates the impression that the US is still as wounded and ready to lash out as it was in the immediate aftermath of the collapse of the World Trade Centre No, no impression is being created. It's the Damn truth.
Let's Roll !!

What I am challenging is a mindset that sees al-Qa'ida or Saddam behind every tragedy, from the Oklahoma bombing to the murder of a detective in Manchester and the loss of the space shuttle last weekend.
Quite the contrary! We see bill & hillary clinton behind every tragedy!

If President Bush had ordered the nuclear destruction of Kandahar on September 11th, 99% of Americans would have supported him. In some ways, that might have been a good idea -- the aircraft were in fact weapons of mass destruction. The world needs to think we are serious about using nukes as a deterrent or they cease to deter.
