Oh, this is good! All the delegates talking about where they should park their limos, in order to best shut down NY traffic. The delegate from Syria proposes an afternoon at Cartier and robbing it!

When did SNL go so un-PC.......or are they calling it fair and balanced these days?

I want a "Howard Cosell" narration.

I live in the deep, deep woods and gots me no tv until the big dead tree is cleared from blocking my SatDish.

Come on, putative sports writers--fill us blind guys in.

You can definitely tell that UN delegates have impressed the writing staff with their well-mannered behavior around Manhattan. LOL

Powell gave his presentation. The the German delegate stated that it was very powerful and that he proposed that the UN do nothing as quickly as possible. Then French delegate came on and thanked Powell and proposed that they immediately go to lunch at some snooty restaraunt with the UN picking up the tab. Then they had a long debate about where they should go eat trying to make sure that they spent as much of the UN's money as possible and trying to make sure that they parked in the most inconvenient place for New Yorkers and ran up the most parking tickets. Some third world delegate asked if diplomatic immunity covered "looting, raping, pillaging, and arson". He was told that it did not and he said "never mind, my idea wouldn't work then".

Syria suggested the shoplifting. Camaroon asked whether arson and something else were covered under diplomatic immunity.

The blocking-traffic jokes got a lot of laughs. I bet the people in NYC really get tired of them.

I've just got to make one observation, I've seen more quality humor on FR in the last couple of days, than I've seen on SNL in the last 10 years. Perhaps Lorne Michaels and his writers are picking up some clues, from our threads.....:-)

Some of the best lines I have ever read have been here on FR

I read an article the other day that I'm sure was a spin off of some of the comments from here. The article was about France and the criticism they hear from us. They said the French were "Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys"

LOL
