SCI]Am I watching live cam pic's of a new volcano being born? Hey folks, I check out Mount Popocapeteil (sp) volcano (Near Mexico City) most every day for the last few years. I HAVE NEVER SEEN WHAT I AM SEEING NOW. If you go to the TELMEX site you must click on the ALTZOMONI camera and page right on the cam to see a NEW FIRE AREA that was never there before. I dont know if it is a new opening a new volcano or just a forest fire. What do you guys think??

I just press the PRINT_SCREEN button on my keyboard and then paste it into PaintShopPro to fiddle with it.....

It would be making undue light of a tragedy, but no more so than the original touristguy shot at the WTC. Tragedy? Maybe, just because it happened to one of our National Symbols - a source of our pride. An industrial accident in a manufacturing plant can kill more than this.
Just a few days later, a train wreck in Zimbabwae killed 46 and injured hundreds. Burnt corspes were being pulled for hours out of the smouldering wreckage.
It rated a 2" item in the last section of my hometown paper.

The Canal at the Miraflores lock ... I went through there in 1960 - before Carter gave it away to the chicoms.

NICE!!!! MY dad told me about this thread, and what I have noticed so far in all the pics, the flow of the steam is always in the same direction.

Wow, nice pics captured! Still the flow is the same ,at least in my eyes. By the way, in volc10.jpg, what is that glowing thing in the air just above the larger volcano? Just a glimer of light from the sun I suppose?
