Man, those wouldn't be my choices at all.
I can't stand Richard Gere, but I think the end of Officer and a Gentleman is a classic.
I'll add to that:
Romeo and Juliet (Leonard Whiting & Olivia Hussey)
Forever Young (Mel Gibson)
City of Angels
Last of the Mohicans
there's more I can't think of right now lol

Forever Young (Mel Gibson) Is Mel in that love scene alone?

What about Charleton Heston-Kim Hunter in The Planet of the Apes. I'ver never seen anyone kiss an ape like that before (and that's no lie).

Forever Young (Mel Gibson)
OMG, I just watched that this afternoon. I LOVE that movie

Agree, City of angels and Mohicans were both good
love scenes, but nothing will ever top that scene
on the beach in "From here to eternity"
When Burt Lancaster kisses her, wow.
The music, the whole thing.

Agree with you about "An Officer and a Gentleman! Love the whole movie, but the ending is killer!
I also was a sucker for Love Story, and A Summer Place.
