Good luck! For what it's worth, the last 3 times I ate steamed mussels I got violently sick approx. 4.5 hours later. Diarrhea, vomiting and then it was over.
Don't know if it was bad mussels or allergic reaction. I suspect it was probably bad mussels but I'm not going to press my luck again.......

you're in denial....you're a dork.
Release Snuggles now, as you were told.....have you no dignity?

Well glock it looks you actually told the truth this time. Well you all dodged the bullet this time.
Snuggles has made it home.
Slightly worse from wear but in one piece. I took him to the emergency room to have his stomach pumped. For the love of Pooh, what were you feeding him? He is resting although I wouldnt call it comfortably. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get duct tape off of fur? And gee glock, there was no need to douse him with bar-b-que sauce. No wonder he threw up on you.
Well, I am going to bed as well. Thank you mystery-ak without you they never would have let him go.
*yawn* Good night all
BTW what happened to the dog?
To: Harmless Teddy Bear; glock rocks; Brad's Gramma; Jim Robinson
Snuggles looks terrible.....he needs good food and a lot of love.....take care of him Harmless.
Thank you Jim for helping us.
Now, about that dog?

What you did made me so queasy that I renewed my monthly contribution and pray that no one will ever pull a stunt like that again.
I live across the street from an Oyster farm on the Yaquina Bay and have never been able to get into clams, mussells or oysters. Even got drunk when I was much younger in order to eat them and could not keep them down.
So dware you repulsed me into supporting a forum that has been a great source of knowledge, fun and companionship over the years.

Hey you look like my son goatee and all. A good looking FReeper who has sent me looking for a Mylanta, phenagren and pepcid cocktail due to his actions. The kid in the pic has facial expressions that says it all. LOL

Pledged to become a #5 monthly donor if you ate 100 mussels but decided to become a $10 donor instead. Hope it's ok if I change my mind. Women are entitled to do that you know.

Kid: I hope I can spend the night at Timmy's house. Tomorrow morning isn't going to be pretty. I bet we have to burn down the house to get the smell out.

Congratulations on changing your mind re being a monthly $5 donor and upping it to $10/month.
It is a decision that you will not regret.
Thanks!
As I am reminded on a daily basis, that it is a constitutional right for a woman to change her mind. Usually when my wife does that, it benefits all of us.

When we are up in that area, we like to catch crabs if they are in season and then buy so local Yaquina bay shell critters.
Then we cook all of them with some great seasoning. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. In fact our Valentine Dinner has just been changed to Crabs and mussels ala Grampa Dave.

CONGRATS on meeting your goal. $25 donation (25-cents per mussel up to 100) just sent to FR to cover my pledge. Soooooo... how much weight did you gain from this stunt?? ;-)
