We need a thread like this for next weekend's protests. All over the country, FR and like-minded folks will be countering the mindless anti-Americanism of the professional protesters (ANSWER aka Workers World Party, and all the other left-wing organizations that are so good at misleading idealistic college kids and busing them in and putting pre-printed signs in their hands... can't help wondering who's paying for that stuff!).
Wouldn't it be great to have ONE THREAD to go to for ideas for signs and slogans, songs and chants -- and kristinn's 'rules of engagement' -- and 'talking points' -- and everything that will make our 'counters' more effective?

I agree that consolidating ideas in a one-stop location would save a lot of time and educate a lot more patriots. There must be someone out there who understands how this can best be done. I hope (s)he is reading this!

Do those signs cost a dollar a piece?

The DC Chapter of FreeRepublic.com has been counter-demonstrating against the ANSWER crowd for a year and a half now...
Will be doing so in solidarity and in conjunction with the Tri-State chapter 15 Feb. in NYC.
Biggest gain is that the media covers the left and you can give interviews to get our side out. 'Pod

Why don't you contact Jim Robinson about your idea? I'm going to leave it up to you, because I've got enough on my plate right now. But he's probably the guy to talk to...

If somebody will build it, I will give you the web space. I own a server on a T-1 line and will gladly rope off a section for you. I would offer to build it myself but I have 2 sites that are woefully out of date and demanding my attention as it is.
