The stolen documents related to U.S. chemical, nuclear and biological capabilities still have not been recovered, said FBI agent Lee McEuen.
"They are worth, on the black market, millions of dollars, and would be of huge interest to militias and terrorist organizations," he testified. "Based on that, I believe they are a huge danger to the United States."
Pure rhetoric and demonizing!
Are the documents or the militias the huge danger? I've no doubt that terrorist organizations are a huge danger.
And here we have the old word play at work...
The United States (meaning "the government") or the United States of America?
Just like "narcotic" has a legal and street meaning, so does "the United States".

The news article I posted here yesterday suggested that they have connections with various "right-wing" racist organizations. As for their life-style, the earlier article says they were divorced.

Former Guard officer, ex-wife accused of espionageFunny...
The news article I posted here yesterday suggested that they have connections with various "right-wing" racist organizations. Are you saying that the Aryan Nation is "right-wing".
Some would contend that the Nation of Islam is "right-wing".
Right-Wing Extremism In CanadaThe Nation of Islam, a militant Black organization based in Chicago, actively promotes hatred of Asians, Jews, homosexuals, Catholics, Arabs and Europeans on both sides of the border.

I guess I just don't get the meaning of "right wing". All I see is "name association". Right-bad/left-good?
Come to think of it...there aren't any specifically named "left wing" groups, just the vague nomenclature.
As evidence...
During the past decade we have witnessed dramatic changes in the nature of the terrorist threat. In the 1990s, right-wing extremism overtook left-wing terrorism as the most dangerous domestic terrorist threat to the country. During the past several years, special interest extremism, as characterized by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), has emerged as a serious terrorist threat. Generally, extremist groups engage in much activity that is protected by constitutional guarantees of free speech and assembly. Law enforcement becomes involved when the volatile talk of these groups transgresses into unlawful action.Even ALF/ELF fall under "right wing", though the nomenclature is "extremism" and not the "terrorism" associated with "left wing".
Pretty confusing isn't it.
