What I'm wondering is whether these people get into pediactrics because of their urges, or if they 'discover' their urges after years of dealing with children in arguably 'private' matters (they are doctors, after all). I would personally suspect the latter, simply because while a determined child sexual predator may go to great lengths to gain access to children I find it hard to believe that one would go through the rigours and expense of medical school simply as a means to an end for abusing kids.

Don't forget - he obtained healthy fees during his practice, you can be sure. Doctors in the US are not known for poverty. So he combined his "interest" with an income.

Would a pedophile have the self-discipline to finish medical school and not get caught at his scheme? If not, then such perversion must come about later. The Bible speaks of last times in which men are consumed in their "own lusts."
