The North Korean, identified as Jim Kim Su, was said to have planned attacks on unspecified British and U.S. interests throughout Lebanon in an attempt to stop a U.S.-led war against Iraq. Exactly what, if any, interests does either country have in Lebanon, let alone interests important enough to stop the war?

I think NK wants to stop an Iraqi war because they fear they will be next.
