Wouldn't it be even MORE appropriate for FR to allow banner space for these announcements at the top of the screen? Heck they find room to display the latest pledge drive statistics at the top, why not advertise a rally for our troops?

I dunno. Just thought the site could become a little more user friendly and topic appropriate when posting events.
