As for "loss of national prestige," that is never a proper excuse for bloodletting. And as for supposed "increasing vulnerability to terrorism" if we do not invade, just wait to see what we're going to get a few days after our first strike goes in.

This sounds suspiciously like a leftist comment, as well as a threat to domestic security.

Calling in the posse, I see. Well, I've said all I care to say this go-round. Except for this: Colin Powell made the entirely superfluous case that Hussein is dissembling, brutal, and dangerous. What he did not do is demonstrate why it is the responsibility for Americans, in lives and money, to clean up this mess.
