BREAKING NEWS: U.S. INTERCEPTS IRAQI TRANSMISSION TO ACTIVATE CHEMICAL WEAPONS IMMEDIATELY
That is correct. Saddam has sent orders to Republican Guard in the field to activate weapons that Iraq claim 'do not exist.'

The problem, as I see it, is that once the nuclear genie is released it's damn tough to stuff it back into its aluminum bottle. The most likely result for the other nuclear powers (India, Pakistan, et. al.) is for them to build humongous nuclear arsenals, and then we're back to MAD as a brake on further use of nukes. It's not the best solution, of course, but better than nothing.

There is a question of precedure, but I feel confident we can overcome it.....This turn of events is unfortunate. We must accelerate our plans,proceed.... Wipe them out...all of them.

This fricken war is going to go nuclear.I don't think so. We don't need nukes to win, and win quickly. We want to enter Iraq as liberators; our enemy is Saddam, not the Iraqi people; no one on our side wants to gratuitously kill Iraqi civilians. The use of nukes would enormously complicate postwar politics, both within Iraq and around the world, while restraint in the face of provocation would stand to our credit.
I just don't see what we have to gain from using nukes, and we have a lot to lose.

Ignore my last post. I misread your tag as Apollo 13.
To: null and void
I did not, the Apollo designations were Roman numerals. See the tag below. :-)

If Iraq uses chemical or Bio. weapons on our troops, I believe we will use tacticak Nukes strategically on Iraq.
Then, N. Korea will try to Pearl Harbor us, so on it'll go. IMHO.

Harry was tough for a while, but backed down on a win in Korea when he could have. We lost 50K troops there including two of my buddies and for what? If he had stood up to Mao and bombed the Chicoms at the Yalu on both sides of the river I think the outcome would have meant the reunification of Korea then and the humiliation of the Commies, including USSR.
I can't help but think that had he acted forcefully we would not be having the same bloody problems now with North Korea as we had then except they now seem to have some nukes, or soon will have (thanks to the asisinitiy of Klinton and his verminous band of idiots).

If there is not a declaration of war. why are they trying to repeal it?
To: HEY4QDEMS
Don't forget...Sean Penn and Janeane Garafalo also say that Iraq doesn't possess these weapons.
Sean Penn went so far as to travel to Iraq on his own weapons inspection mission to verify this himself!
