pMSNBC reported a few minutes ago that "sources" say there may be an increased US threat alert soon due to some Muslim holy day and possible war with Iraq.

This alert went "online" the moment Bush gave his speech.
Curious...

Thanks. Let's roll. And, as for domestic terrorism, citizens are one of the frontlines of defense. We should all be on the alert.
I'm off to hear Notra Trulock discuss his great new book, Kindred Spirits, at Olsonn's books in DC tonight. It's great living in DC -- you can go and hear these things. That's what I normally think. But then I see something like this and I think, "Maybe it's not so great living in DC."

This alert went "online" the moment Bush gave his speech. Curious...Well, more like ~20 minutes before. But quite a coincidence nonetheless.

Put up or shut up and pack your bags.

"pMSNBC reported a few minutes ago that 'sources' say there may be an increased US threat alert soon due to some Muslim holy day and possible war with Iraq."Heck...this is '03, and the Islamakazis love prime numbers. IMO, we'd be wise to assume possible attacks for the rest of the year, especially on dates consisting of nothing but primes, like 03/03/03. (Not that we're 100% safe on any OTHER date)
NOTE: I'M NOT PREDICTING A TERRORIST ATTACK SPECIFICALLY ON THAT DATE...IT'S JUST AN EXAMPLE

"This alert went 'online' the moment Bush gave his speech."Actually, we heard the same warning from the DoS yesterday following Sec of State Powell's presentation to the Security Council.
