Yes good point on the welcome bit...and it still fits with the "game over" statement.

We have waited 12 years; we can wait another 2 weeks to try to get them on the bandwagon before saying screw them and going it alone. Bush has never said if the U.N. does not go along, we are finished....he has made it clear we WILL go no matter what.

I think those seeking a new resolution from Congress are in the minority. Even Corzine said one isn't needed.

Watch for a house to fall on Helen and Hildebeast any day now.

Don't you think the announcement was elicited by the assurance that the second resolution is a "go"?

Nothing really new, it appeared weak to me, but I was listening on the radio.

I'm surprised that he didn't say that he ordered units into Iraq...
Never the less, somethings up.

He also told the world that the Iraqi forces have been given orders to use WMD when our boys attack. Translation............We might have a few more casualties this time around.

Yep. No doubt about it now, it is ON. GWB is giving the UN one last chance (one more than they deserve IMO) not to look like total wusses and fools. If they take it, fine. If they don't, fine. Either way, Saddam's Iraq is about to get its ticket punched.
I heard the speech on the radio and heard the steel in his voice. His slow halting speech patterns drive me nuts sometimes, but this time, I was mesmerized. That wasn't fake. He is not playing, he is not joking, and he is not spinning. He knows the weight of the decisions he's making, and he's taking them as seriously as they deserve.
Folks, please pray for the innocent people in Iraq (I know there have to be some), pray for our President, and pray for our troops. It's showtime.

Did anyone hear the part about those unmanned airplanes which could be launched off the coast of our country that can travel 200 miles spreading germs or chemicals??
