I wonder if the inspectors have already been evacuated from Iraq. Maybe the excuse of Blitz going back to Iraq is a cover story to allow the inspectors to get out to 'meet' with Blitz. Don't think that our President would ever intentionally leave them hanging in the wind. UNLIKE OUR FORMER PREZ WHO LEFT SOLDIERS IN SOMALIA.

Ari had her [Helen Thomas] all flustered today when he asked her for sources....lol

Oh..i forgot about that. First she bashed Ari about Iraq being all about oil. Then Ari beat her (unfortunately not literally) with the fact if it was about oil US would simply buy from Iraq.

Helen later said Bush Administration had plans to take over oil fields and make new contracts with Britian, Germany, France etc. Ari asked her what her sources were and she backed down.

That's what I think. Not that Powell doesn't deserve it! But I don't think this is going to be much of anything important, except perhaps one last call to the Froggies and the Krauts.

For one thing, the Muslims are all gathering in Mecca for their pilgrimage (the Haj) this weekend, and I don't think we'd want to attack with millions of spare Muslims out there floating around, and unable to get back to where they came from.
