I do wish we were closer. We could lend a hand.
My heart aches for them. Our daughter is one day overdue with a little boy and still working. :>) Having her vanish
into thin air would be miserable. We spoke of it and we would have had private detectives on it within 24hours. Laci's husband would have been escorted to a cabin in Canada by several large men and asked a few questions.

One of my friends was due on Halloween, and she was DETERMINED not to have a Halloween baby, so on October 28 she cleaned the entire house (including dusting the tops of the ceiling fans), walked the dog around their usual route four times, and ran up and down the stairs several times.

Not a thing. Baby showed up on October 31, just as scheduled.

Don't you know it! If I have learned anything in these missing persons cases,(especially children) it's that you better hire the best investigator $ can buy within the first 24 hours. AND if you don't know any large men, find the nearest biker bar in your area....
