Our daughter is one day overdue with a little boy and still working.

One of my friends was due on Halloween, and she was DETERMINED not to have a Halloween baby, so on October 28 she cleaned the entire house (including dusting the tops of the ceiling fans), walked the dog around their usual route four times, and ran up and down the stairs several times.

Not a thing. Baby showed up on October 31, just as scheduled.

They come when THEY want, don't they? My last child was due March 26th but, par for the course, was overdue. The ONLY day I didn't want to have her was April Fool's Day and sure enough, that's the day she picked! Somehow they know....
