Powell's evidence is certainly compelling enough for most people. But our friendly liberals need proof of a different sort -

1. Pictures of Saddam and his boys smoking cigarettes.

2. Saddam wearing a fur coat; real fur.

3. Proof that Saddam prevented a woman from having an abortion.

4. Saddam leading a prayer session before a meeting.

5. Saddam and his boys driving SUV's.

Get us those pictures, Mr. Powell, and then we'll have our "progressives" leading the charge to Iraq.

Earlier at the United Nations, Powell's presentation of evidence about Saddam Hussein's arsenal drew mixed reactions from world representatives.

Iraq's U.N. ambassador called the allegations "utterly unrelated to the truth." NEGATIVE

And with the U.S. preparing to forcibly disarm Iraq, if necessary, Security Council members China (NEGATIVE) , France (NEGATIVE) and Germany (NEGATIVE)said weapons inspectors should be given more time.

But Iraqi Ambassador Mohammed Al-Douri dismissed Powell's claims, noting that to date, weapons inspectors have found no direct evidence Iraq is hoarding banned weapons. NEGATIVE

And as Security Council members reacted to Powell's speech, it was clear the U.S. still faces resistance. NEGATIVE

Tang Jiaxuan, China's foreign minister, said that, "As long as there is still the slightest hope for political settlement, we should exert our utmost effort to achieve that." NEGATIVE

Dominique de Villepin, the French foreign minister, also said inspections should continue under "an enhanced regime of inspections monitoring" and that Iraq must do more to cooperate. "The use of force can only be a final recourse," de Villepin said. NEGATIVE

Coming to Powell's defense, British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said the secretary made a "most powerful" case. POSITIVE (Ahhh, there we go.)

And you people think the media aren't objective. Shame on you!!!
