Karl Marx would have been better than Wilson. At least Teddy would have sent troops to strangle communism in the cradle after entering the war on the wrong side so as to prevent the Germans from doing it afterwords. We know from Teddy's past performance he would not have been as bad as Wilson the destroyer of the civilized world.
I don't see how Wilson "destroyed the civilized world." He got the US into WWI (bad move) and founded the Federal Reserve (I think that's a bad more, though that's just what I heard, I don't claim to know enough myself about the subject). What else? Nothing. Yeah, Wilson had the idea for the League of Nations, but that never amounted to anything, so you can't really credit or blame it for anything.
What happened in Europe was mainly Europe's mess. It's unfair to put too much blame on any American.
