I hope this lifts the curse.

At his height, when Reich swings, you get hit below the belt.....sorry about that if you are "vertically challenged"

Wasn't this little twirp defeated in his bid for the Governorship of Taxachusetts? He should siddown and shaddup, already.
To: opticoax
When you consider that this was written by a guy who came up short in his bid for the Democratic nomination in the Massachusetts governor's race last year . . .
Sorry -- I couldn't resist.

Propaganda from the 1/3 Reich

Cut embarrassing players loose and pretend they're exceptions. Trent Lott WAS an exeption, no matter how much you wish to tar the R's with his problems.
Reich sounds more bitter than of old. Probably losing and O'Reilly have driven him a little nutty.

though well all agree with your take on reich's article, please try to use the publication's title in the future--to avoid duplicate posts and allow other reader's to know the source and whether they've seen it before

Count on the American public's (and the media's) inability to remember anything from one year to the next.Sounds as though this critic is counting on this principle to this day. You know, since he proudly served an impeached President, who was the only President to leave office under a plea bargain.

Robert Reich is an idiot with regards to politics, but did you know that he was an actor in Hollywood? We've all seen him in popular movies, but probably never recognized him.
Eg. In The Wizard of Oz, he's the one who said to Dorothy, "Welcome to Munchkin Land."
To: opticoax
Well, that was kind of a runt of the mill editorial from Reich...

Don't ya love it when they fall apart like this? The party is going down the tubes and they drag out Reich to write something nasty (naw, democraps never say anything like THAT). This is pitiful.

It's hard to tell who Reich thinks he's talking to in this piece. Certainly no one who was there for the HillaryCare Task Force has room to criticize Cheney on the subject of secrecy. I figure he must be talking to that small group of people known as the "Democratic base," the folks he can spew stuff like this at without having them laugh in his face.
If the purpose here is to attempt the demonization of Rove, Democrats could probably have chosen a better spokesperson. A guy who can't even win a primary is a poor sort to send out to joust with the guy who just cleaned the Democrats' clock in the mid-term elections. Or maybe the Democrats have finally made it past the 'denial' stage of grief and are now going to be angry... angry at Rove for taking away their Senate, and even more House seats. In fact, this is probably the best explanation, because this whole article is just an angry rant from a little man who got his butt whipped and doesn't like it. In that sense it's pathetic. |
