This should be fun. I mean watching the biggest Socialist state in America crash. One hopes the "evil Republicans" can live up to their name and veto and prevent more taxes. The food fight when the non-productive suddenly have to divide up the smaller pie should be quite amusing.

If you tell a Jackie Goldberg that by taxing the rich any further, the rich will reallocate their wealth and leave the state with it, she’d probably say, ‘Great!’

Democrats are more conniving than that. What I predict they will do is implement policies to burst the housing bubble soon. This will be the socialists New Berlin Wall. With the state's taxpayers are under water on their house investments, they aren't going anywhere.

Here's an idea. Let a legislator write a bill that will repeal every new project that was implemented in the last five years, on the grounds that if Californa survived without it for 150 years, thay can do so again. It probably wouldn't be enough to make up the deficit completely, but it would be a good start.
