Strange that Ritter would plan to be in the region when he knows war is imminent.

Maybe he has orders from Saddam to be within arm's reach to be used as a propaganda tool or ELSE. Obviously, Ritter will be able to say things from there that he would not say while on U.S. soil.

He's "still happily around," as if taking every breath only at Saddam's leisure.
