It's Frog Foreign Minister time. I've never heard anyone talk so much, and yet say so little.

CNN
I don't know who Ken Pollack is, but Ken Pollack was on CNN with Wolf Blitzer. He was completely convinced that Powell was convincing, even with, as he put it, the conservative information Powell offered. Pollack thinks Powell just offered the tip of the iceberg, the most conservative information, that there's much more, but Powell didn't want to risk any more of our sources.
Christianne Amanpour's husband James Rubin, (Albright's former butt boy),
Rubin said one very important thing came out....a smoking intercept"
he called it. The first intercepted message played by Powell. would convince anyone that the Iraqis are hiding information, that they are in breech. Rubin says, all but the unconvincable should be convinced by what they heard today. Rubin called this "a most compelling presentation".
That's what he said, but wouldn't you know a Clinton guy wouldn't bring himself to say Powell presented "the smoking gun". He has to get cute and call the damning intercepted message, a "smoking intercept". How cute.

Brian Willians cock his head to align his crooked nose and muse this " well it can be said that while persuasive, Powell did not deliver the smoking gun" These idiot commentators are about as frightening as Sadam. Did he sleep throught the speech or what? Maybe he can get his old job back at the pancake house in Middletown, NJ

Cameroon is a former French colony that has some oil...Looking at the map, I am not surprised, since they're next to oil-rich Nigeria.

The value of Powell:
Dems convinced themselves that Gore was a better candidate than the preppy lightweight GOP candidate. Gore was not anybody's prize, and they knew it. So to continue their self-delusion of Gore being more qualified than Bush after the election, they said that Cheney ran the show and Powell was the steadying hand of dovish reality.
Now they have painted themselves into the corner where the Bush cabinet has them completely without any room for dissent.

Wasn't that a French Mirage in that video? :-) Yep, sure was.
From the looks of it, I suspect that the Iraqis are using the original model as a testbed, not the F-1.
French up now. Appeasement monkeys, as usual. Somebody get out the jpg. of the monkey holding the white flag.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

After my vote on msnbc:
How did Colin Powell do in his U.N. presentation?
* 17414 responsesHe made a convincing case for the U.S. to attack Iraq with or without U.N. support.
77%
He provided some new information, but not enough for the U.S. to go it alone. 20%
His case was so weak that the U.N. should consider suspending arms inspections.
3%
Hmmm, that's 97% who think we should attack Iraq with UN support. Who was it in this thread that said CP would move the Iraq figures from 77 to 97%?
To: dfwgator
I am wondering if the 'mysterious gas' that was used against the rebels in the Russian theatre might be a concoction that Saddam made. Maybe the Russians' are being threatened with exposure of this fact if they openly support the UN. If this is the case, it is even more urgent to remove the bugger.

Lancome, L'Oreal, Yves Rocher, cosmetics are a few that come to mind... French wines and cheeses... Renault cars... Hmmm ... I don't use any cosmetics, I drink American or South American wine and eat Kraft cheese. Renault still builds cars? BTW ... I have two GM cars in my garage.
Do you have anything substantial we could boycott? ;o)
