No I didn't see it, but it doesn't surprise me much. You and I have had talks along these lines. I wasn't quite as willing as you to entertain some possibilities in this instance, but I do have serious concerns for problems down the road.

Folks, we are financing China's R&D into areas that are going to put our nation at risk in ways most people nevery conceptualized. I have pleaded for years for people to wake up to what we were financing for China. It seems that short of them creating a situation where we'll have to fight for our very existance, nobody will listen.

In the years leading up to the German dominance of Europe, there were people who advised against doing business with them. The profiteers slamed them just as they slam anyone with a lick of common sense today.

We will either wake up as a nation, or we will "pay up" as a nation. Our children, grandchildren and their heirs will pay for our sorry moral decline. We wonder how appeasement could have endured in the face of certain German agression. Well, look around. This is how.
