For those who doubt the participation of Mexican troops in the smuggling of illegal immigrants and drugs, please pay a visit to http://www.americanpatrol.com and take a look at the lead article. If you have RealPlayer on your computer, you can watch the video.
An American Border Patrol member videotaped a group of 50 to 60 illegals being guided by armed Mexican troops out in the desert just west of Douglas, Arizona. The troops directed them to a point very close to the border fence in a deep wash running north to south. It was about 5:00 pm, starting to get dark, and they were probably waiting for the Border Patrol to change shifts.
The troops stayed south of the border. One wonders if they've gone into business for themselves or were they hired by one of the local cartels?

'Nuff said. And I'll still bet this doesn't get any media attention.

I personally think that the border is too large to guard, otherwise we would have put troops on it during the Cold War, but THIS is ridiculous. Mexican troops entering our country is a violation of our sovereignty.

The troops stayed south of the border I was outraged about the Mexican military invading, but then I saw the above line in the post.

...being guided by armed Mexican troopsWhat gets even less press coverage are the thousands of Guatemalans who are murdered making their way north by the Mexican troops each year.

I personally think that the border is too large to guard, The good news is that we don't have to guard it to solve the problem. All we have to do in increase the penalties for the criminals involved (including the Mexican government).
Unfortunately Bush and Vincente' Fox seem to be in bed together for some reason.

He's already been on O'Reilly once before. I wonder if we'll see him on the program again this week.

We don't have a problem guarding the border bet. the Koreas or other similiar border areas around the world, why is it such a problem along the Mexican border?
To: american spirit
We don't have a problem guarding the border between the Koreas...In Korea all border crossers are assumed to be hostile and can be shot. I spent eight years over there while I was in the Army.

From where I sit, some twenty miles from the mexican border you statement is Absolutely,Positively TRUE.!!
My family and I no longer venture south of that border. The last trip to Baja some twelve years ago we were stopped by a Mexican Highway Patrol officer for some vague offense. He had us open our car trunk and helped himself to a nice Coleman Lantern, and a camp stove. as well as my son's rod and reel. Smiled at us. Told us to be on our way. Down in Baja they call their Highway Patrolmen The "Green Angels"
