I think that they would like to, but i'm beginning to think they're an impotent big mouthed organization with dreams of grandeur.

I don't think they're that impotent - I think that there have been many attacks thwarted that were in various stages of planning that will never be known by the world at large. I remember after 9/11 telling my hubby that in the war on terror there will be victories that we will never know about, but any failures will be out there for all to see.

I'm sure that you're correct in saying that things happen that we don't know about and thank goodness for that because that means Americans were saved. But I still think that Al Queda has been crippled.
