I am a lifelong resident of Heber, Arizona of 46 years. My father, and his father before him, were loggers. My brothers and I were forced out of the job we loved by radical environmentalists. I just noticed the billboard on Highway 260 in Heber. I have witnessed the forest surrounding my hometown go from vibrant and healthy to the jackpine choked, stunted mess it is today. Last summer, I saw the home I was raised in burn to the ground because of the policies of the Forest Service and environmental wackos. Your billboard expresses the feelings of the vast majority of residents of this area. We are sick and tired of greenies filing lawsuit after lawsuit preventing the proper management of our beloved forest. Seeing log truck after log truck coming off the reservation while our National Forest sits and rots makes me ill. How can I become involved to spread the word?
