The gulf between Fl's two senators and its governor is similar to that which exists in New York...an obviously schizoid electorate...

I know - I'm noticing that, too. I'm sitting here crying my eyes out already.

President visibly moved as families enter. Me too, as they are mixed up together, including an old man in a wheelchair and a tiny Indian lady in a sari.

Thank you, Howlin, for the thread. Don't know what everyone else is watching but C-SPAN and NASA-TV (same feed) are the places to watch. No whispering heads like Rather, Jennings, Brokaw, etc. When will they learn to shut up?
To: baseballmom
Pray hard for him now - he will need it as he gives his remarks. I don't know how he made it thru Sat's speech. I would have needed a sedative.

The astronauts are definitely true heroes. The music that I heard playing is so touching. I heard one about the Lamb of God. Beautiful.

How very humble he is to sit as part of the mourners, instead of hogging the spotlight.

I love my new "Happy Clappy" church with contemporary praise music but those old hymns are killers.
To: mombonn

This President never seeks glory and attention...he is there to comfort and represent the sorrow of the country. I can't think of anyone I'd rather have do this.

I tuned to NASA-TV (channel 213 on Dish Network)
It seems "right" to watch it there somehow.

They still think we need them to tell us how to feel.

I see there is an Army Aviator with the rank of Warrant Officer W1 and a 10th Mountain Division patch on his left sleeve and a nametag that says, McCool.
To: eddie willers
