I agree with you 100% and if it is the foam you can bet that NASA will shout it from the rooftops and the environmentalists crowd are going to be the ones have a "bad day!"

Don't count on it.

NASA may shout it from the rooftops, but the environmentalists crowd will think of some excuse. They always do and the always get cover from the media.

CharacterCounts is correct. The environmentalists already have a way out. There is no prohibition on the use of freon. You can get a waiver for critical applications. I know, I've processed those waivers.

The environmentalists will blame the engineers for not asking for a waiver.
