I'll just make one last comment to you then I'm through with you.

Many of those seven were pilots and aeronautical engineers. They had many years of experience with NASA and the shuttle program. They were intimately familiar with it. Do you actually believe that you know more about the safety of the shuttle then them? Do you actually believe they were fools and duped by NASA and their fellow astronauts? That they weren't aware of the problems associated with the foam?

The picture of the wing has been debunked - see link above. Yet TLB continues to post it with a vengeance. I have seen the warning letter from the retired NASA official to the White House posted on countless threads. Knowing absolutely nothing about space travel, I have no idea what caused the shuttle tragedy and the death of seven heros. I don't suspect anything and would like to know what happened. But to come on FR and practically blame Bush for this is so, so left. There is nothing wrong with posting a theory to a thread; but, spamming threads with debunked photos and the like is getting quite tiring.

It looks to me as if a very few FReepers are perfectly willing to:

• Post a picture puporting to be an image of Columbia's wing on this flight AFTER it's been shown that it is no such thing;
• Post a memorandum detailing problems that delayed previous shuttle flights as "proof" that NASA knew Columbia was going to blow up;
• Claim that Columbia could have flown to the ISS for some sort of pit-stop/Earl Scheib repair job;
• And then proceed to engage in slash-and-burn tactics against anyone who disagrees with them, followed by pious complaints about the purity of their motives and the perfidy of all who disagree.

One might be forgiven for wondering what these people really have in mind this early in the investigation.
