lava, I've just got to share again my button-busting pride in my son's band. They just won 5th place at the 29th Annual International Competition of the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America (SPGMA) in Nashville. My son is in the middle with the fiddle (hehe).

The fiddle! My fav. instrument. Can he teach my daughter? She's 7 and likes violin. After God's serenity, she's all the reason for my protective rage and my wish for her to tread the notes in the air, you know. Maybe one day.

Find a Suzuki program right away for that daughter. We put our son in that program at age 3. He plays every instrument he picks up. Colleges or Universities usually have a Suzuki program. It's a wonderful way for kids to learn music.
