Sincerity must be real, it cannot be "emulated." Aw, sure it can. You simply bite your lower lip, give a soulful and concerned look with your eyes, and say in a quavering voice: "I feel your pain." Five out of ten Americans will buy it every time.

Have you heard many stories in the past few days about President Bush's poll numbers? I haven't. That means they must high. Exactly. We should have had a bunch of them done last weekend, but there was not because they don't contain the results that the liberal media wants. Before, when the media and the democrats (but I repeat myself...) were working hard to drive his numbers down, they reported on two, three, and even more polls a week.

Good luck, Canada. There's only one man even CLOSE to being W, and that's W himself. And he's ours. ;-P

"Never has a President embodied the mettle and grit, courage and verve, sparkle and spirit, compassion and optimism of America and her people quite like George W. Bush."Splendid! Absolutely wonderful, JH2!

Your "two cents" articles need their own threads; they completely overshadow the leading article. Great writing.
And it was a record-breaking speech. The degree of squirming and facial contortions on the left side of the aisle confirmed that.

Thanks for the ping. What a great article. It was kind of funny to read it because I was just like he wrote - riveted. I usually try to watch and post on FR at the same time but this time, I couldn't pull myself from the TV. I decided to just sit there and listen to him. He drew me in totally.
JH...once again, a great piece you have written about President Bush. And yes, indeed, character does matter!

That's what I would like to see Grampa. The West CLEARLY removed from the East in the Country. Many of us in the West feel this way. Chretien can bend over and kiss his butt goodbye. He's shameful, a charlatan and a never ending embarassment to us. Not to mention that he and his Party of vandals have plundered this Country non-stop for the last 10 years. Good riddance to rotten rubbish. I'm firmly of the opinion that GW is simply ignoring this idiot knowing that his time is nearly up and that perhaps someone will emerge that he (GW) can logically work with.
