HOW you would know without trying him out first AMAZES me. I can just look at a woman, and I know.
To: Happygal
The child isn't bad. I'd be calling myself bad then. Being born illegitimately is not an ideal situation. It's not what God intends for a child. A family of a man and woman together in holy wedlock that's ideal.
But I know this the 21st century America and that means diddlysquat now.

Men are are not stupid and from a purely selfish perspective it is not smart for young men to get married today. It's not selfish--it's smart.
In general it is possible to obtain sexual gratification these days outside marriage
Well, you can obtain the sex part--gratification's something else.
In any event, it's better to be celebate.
Sex is too much trouble and a waste of time and energy.

Glory be to God, what a wonderful post!
Ideally, marriage is a spiritual union which transcends age, sexual desire, income, education and all those forces in our society which seek to destroy marriage.
At the root of the Western intellectual tradition is ego. From this ego comes greed, selfishness and self righteousness-an inability to listen to or obey others.
Today we see the result of this self centeredness in our society. People divorced several times, litigation, feminism, abortion, and an overwhelming unwillingness to go to church and worship God.
Read through the feminist prattle again, its all about ME. No marriage based upon ME is going to last. A marriage based upon devotion to God in the fullness of His church ...well, I'd say your chances are much better there.

Your nonchalent attitude to child birth, frankly sickens me.
You haven't met a barren couple? Or a long term marital couple 'trying' for years? Or those who have had an ectopic pregnancy?
SHUT yer mouth.
You don't even REALISE the hurtfulness in your own pious words.

" It truly does suck to be single." Being single sucks, but being married and alone sucks worse, believe me.
What's the summer water level supposed to be on Macatawa this summer? The last time we were up there, we scoured our prop pulling up to the dock.
Just a bit of advice about boats ma'am. One has to remember that the two happiest days of a boat owners life are the day he buys it, and the day he sells it. Owning a power boat is a lot like standing in a cold shower tearing up fifty dollar bills, and owning a sailboat is a lot like standing in a cold shower tearing up hundred dollar bills.

In both my parents' cultures you NEVER send your mother to a nursing home. My mother was shocked because there's really no such thing as a nursing home in her country. I haven't been to Sicily ever, but I don't think so. My father took care of his mother.
Plus you need not be spanish or italian to appreciate mother enough to care for her in her old age. It just makes sense! By the way, this is why Japanese men will rarely marry American women. In traditional Japanese culture, the man's wife takes care of the man's mother. And you know how we Americans take care of mom... roll that wheelchair to the gate of Shady Pines and drive off.

I haven't been in Lake Macasewer in years. The levels are expected to be very low once again this year. The big lake has had very low levels for the past 5 years.

WHAT are ye trying to say?

And you should think about the effect YOUR words have on people. Take a day or two, get over it, and re-read your posts. Where do you get off attacking someone for what they believe, especially if that person is trying to live to a higher standard in her own life? Cyborg does not owe YOU a justification for what she believes and expects. You do owe her a little respect and keep your crude comments to yourself.
