Photo Of CRACKS In Columbia In Israeli Paper
If I dropped my pants and turned around I could provide a crack that has as much to do with the shuttle as the cracks in this bogus picture do. Wonder if I could get them to put that in the rag of a newpapers this "photo" came from?
To: demlosers
there's another thread that shows that photo to be a fake. There are various explanations as to why that is so.

What exactly is this a picture of? There was no capacity for STS107 to take images of the underside of either wing. The underside of the shuttle's wings are composed of black to dark-gray tiles, and is completely smooth. Please explain to me how you have come to believe this is a picture of Columbia's left wing.

Yeah OK and the white thing is the newspaper delivered to the green space craft. I am no rocket scientist but this looks as fake as Dolly Parton's boobs.

Whatever that is in this pic making the rounds on the Web (and some foolish European news outlets), it most definitely is not a shuttle's wing. The shuttle is white on the topside and black on the underside. It is aerodynamically smooth and doesn't have whatever those peculiar black thingys are in this silly photo. Also, look at the bleed of the blue color from earth onto the leading edge of the object in the upper righthand corner. A dead give-away of bad photo editing.

Why do people keep posting this fake/fraud poor photoshop-doctored picture?

Where did this come from? The National Inquirer? Give us a break.

It's not the wing, it's a close-up view of a portion of the inside of the payload bay. It's the bulkhead the camera is mounted on. The wrinkled/seamed part is not cracked or dented, it's fabric-like insulating material on the interior of the bay, and all this is INSIDE the shuttle when the payload bay doors are closed.

That's not the wing, it's the *inside* of the cargo bay's wall. Those are not cracks, they are simply panel joints.
