He was sentenced to the maximum for manslaughter - 15 years.
He would have been eligible for release in 10 if he had kept his nose clean.
His other offenses added seven years to his jail time. If he had been a model prisoner he would have served half the time.

Soon he'll be dead or back in prison. hope if he is returned to prison it won't be because he killed another person.
Him being daed sounds like the better of the two options.

If he had been a model prisoner he would have served half the time. The prosecutor, Linda Fairstein, remarked that Chambers was doing a lot more to help him stay behind bars than Fairstein ever could've done. All those violations he racked up in prison.

"His other offenses added seven years to his jail time. If he had been a model prisoner he would have served half the time."I know. IMO, that only makes it worse. The guy has remained consistantly in trouble and says he may kill again. There is NO WAY that any but the looniest of lefties could believe that he's changed his ways after having 'paid his debt to society'.
I hate to say this, but I hope he winds up facedown in the river...SOON.

More like 33%, which is the average time a person serves in prison.
Recidivism is 68%
On another note. We will face a final parole hearing on March 12, 2003 for my Jeremy's sociopathic killer. Should you care to PROTEST this early release you can find the necessary info here: Throw Away the Keys
