The fundamentalist cleric Abu Hamza who has been preaching at Sainsbury Park has said that the Columbia shuttle was an evil trip and its crash would be seen by Muslims as a punishment by Allah.The Scriptures have situations which prefigure future situations.
What happened to the Columbia over Palestine, TX, could just as easily be seen as "pre-figuring" a judgement from "the Heavens" on the Palestinians (in the Middle East.)
