Agreed, very well organized it would seem.
Two collection sites for debris. LA and TX

Makes sense. The Navy and AF reserve units there have some pretty good crash investigation teams. Pluse the hangars to store a LOT of stuff in.

This man is doing a great job on this briefing. No notes, no hesitations..he really knows the overall picture.

The picture in picture is distracting, the constant scrolling chatter across the bottom is not needed... All that is missing is a strobe light for maximum sensory bombardment.

If enough heat got past the tiles to raise the internal structure 60 degrees in five minutes, the tiles aren't doing their job. Yesterday they said that it was an external temp reading that went up 60 deg in 5 min. They also said that an internal temp sensor in about the same place had not registered a significant change.

I feel like he is talking way too fast....annoying me more than anything.

Two press conferences daily from now one, morning one from D.C., afternoon from Houston.
Morning will focus on the organization, future of NASA, etc.
Afternoon will be the technical side.

I wondered about that myself. :-) NASA just didn't want to have to buy all the wreckage back on E-Bay.
To: Howlin
He says we have 16 International partners on the ISS. But the fact he skipped over is that only two have the ability to get up and down from the ISS.
