Did you hear Rush talking about Al's run in with Paul Begala ...?? If you didn't you can hear it on his website. Tooooo funny. The dems are going to be hard pressed to get rid of him - unless they use arkanside.

"Rocket Man" (As sung by Elton John)
She packed my bags last night - pre-flight
Zero hour, nine A.M.
And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then
I miss the earth so much, I miss my wife
It's lonely out in space
On such a timeless flight
{soc}
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touchdown brings me 'round again to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
Rocket man, burnin' out his fuse up here alone
{eoc}
Mars ain't the kinda place to raise your kids
In fact it's cold as hell
And there's no one there to raise them if you did
And all this science, I don't understand
It's just my job five days a-week
Rocket man - - - rocket man
{soc}
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
Till touchdown brings me 'round to find
I'm not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I'm a rocket man
[C]Rocket man, burnin' out his fuse up [G]here alone[G7] {eoc}
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time
And I think it's gonna be a long long time

NO..but I caught Al on the show Friday.....he destroyed Paul.....Al is the Dem's worst nightmare..he was well received at the NARAL dinner.....Rev Al and Gov Dean are the two who appeal to the party's hard-core base...the group which votes in the primaries.....Lieberman won't break doule-digits in Iowa, and if kerry does well in NH, Holy Joe is kaput...Sharpton will win the SC primary.....it's wide open

Thanks man! That song has been out for how many years, and I never knew what that line was...I'd sing along and mumble that part.

And
this just in:
"Frist and Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle of South Dakota will lead a congressional delegation to Houston Tuesday for a memorial service for the shuttle's seven fallen astronauts."
Maybe this means they're putting off the vote.

See post #110 - I'm thinking he scheduled a 1:30 news conference last week for today, and let CSPAN know about it. (He has a CSPAN link on his web site). Now with the Challenger Tragedy, will probably put off the vote.

Thanks for the ping. He must have re-scheduled. They say timing is everything. I'd say Daschle's stinks (heh heh!).

Where do you find these lyrics - are they on some website. I've been trying to figure out a few lines to "Jet" by Wings - it's been driving me CRAZY for 20 years. LOL
