Arlington, Va. (CNSNews.com) - American corporations were urged to stand up to environmental pressure groups and reject "appeasement" during a panel discussion at the Conservative Political Action Conference here on Saturday.

Nick Nichols, a crisis management expert and author of The Rules for Corporate Warriors: How to Fight and Survive Attack Group Shakedowns , said many companies believe that if they "give (environmental pressure groups) what they want maybe they will go away."

"They will not go away...appeasement didn't work with [former British Prime Minister] Neville Chamberlain when he tried it with [Adolf] Hitler," Nichols cautioned. Nichols made his remarks during a CPAC panel session called "Myth, Lies & Terror: The Growing Threat of Radical Environmentalism."

This is a PRIME PROBLEM in the corporate world. Everybody in the political and/or corporate world are obsessed with "lookin good" and mortally fearful of "losing face!"

It's also true in governmental agencies such as NASA, right now! Any agency will waste millions, even billions to keep up appearances and protect their scheduled budget increases. It's indemic in our whole society.

We're even becoming paralyzed as a nation over "World Opinion!" We've abandoned our sovereignty for entangling alliances that George Washington warned us against and are moving beyond that to being GOVERNED BY WORLD OPINION!!!

CPAC needs a wake-up call; it isn't appeasement. It's investment in influence buying to manipulate the market.

Abolish the UN, abolish the ESA, harvest timber, hatch fish, abolish all roadless areas, mine for minerals, irrigate farms, drill for oil in ANWR and off shore!

Prosecute all eco-terrorism!

People are afraid to say NO because they might hurt someones feeeeeeelings.
Say NO! Ignoring the attackers and their responsive media is how to handle beggars. Put a quarter in their cup and they will bother you each and every opportunity from then on. Say no and they move on to bother the next target.
