It's a spray on foam, so I'm not sure of how it would react. But NASA says it was a big chunk.

Hmmm. The way it sprayed, it looked brittle like ice. We'll have to see.

I've watched TV today and seen quite a few clips. I've seen the one where it does indeed look like a snowball, and where it goes under the wing and sprays.

And then from another angle it has a slight orange color, and it also sprays.

I am beginning to think that the nature of the foam (it was spray on) would of allowed it to do that. :-)
